Wellness Bar expresses gratitude for first responders with new program

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho -- A North Idaho coffee chain has launched a new pay it forward program for first responders.

Wellness Bar said this is its way to express thanks and appreciation for all the hard work first responders put in to help the community.

"Our first responders do so much for our community keeping us safe and just being active out in the community. This is just a very small gift that we could give back to them," said Wellness Bar's Aimee Ewert.

All five locations now offer a gift card first responders can use to pay for their meals.

Customers can contribute to the card as a thank you to first responders.
