(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on Friday, Aug. 30, near the Interquest Parkway exit on I-25.

According to CSP, around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, troopers arrived at the scene in the northbound lanes of I-25 and found a motorcycle with the rider dead at the scene. Investigators believe that a blue Dodge Charger may have been driving aggressively with the motorcycle before the crash.

The left and center lanes of northbound I-25 were closed for around three hours after the event.

If anyone witnessed this crash or has information, they are asked to contact CSP through the Pueblo Regional Communication Center at (719) 544-2424 and reference case number 2B242676.
