    Deceased in CDOT crash identified, fundraiser for families

    GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. ( KREX ) — The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the three people who died in Wednesday’s U.S. 6 crash .

    The passenger in the Jeep was identified as 67-year-old Kathie Wallace of Mesa County.

    The Colorado Department of Transportation employees who died were identified as 23-year-old Nathan Jones and 43-year-old Trenton Umberger, who both lived in Grand Junction.

    GoFundMe campaigns have been established to support each family.
