“Ciao Down” on Italian-American homemade classics

(COLORADO SPRINGS) – Ciao Down has been open since March 2021 in Colorado Springs, serving delicious homemade American-Italian cuisine. Owner of Ciao Down Francine Vonfeldt joined Nova outside the FOX21 Studios to share a handful of the delicious menu items.

Vonfeldt makes homemade marinara and vodka sauce, fresh chicken cutlets, homemade meatballs, fresh eggplant, sausage and peppers. All the bread she makes for the sandwiches are sourced by a local baker in town. Ciao Down food truck was recently serving at Porch Fest and will be serving food on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Metric Brewing in Colorado Springs.
