(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Salvation Army has started its second month partnering with the King Soopers Fight Hunger bag program, while the organization works to meet an increased need with its food pantry.

According to The Salvation Army throughout September, for every $2.50 Fight Hunger bag sold, The Salvation Army will get $1. The Salvation Army said the bag is sold at the King Soopers located at 3620 Austin Bluffs Parkway.

Recently, The Salvation Army revealed its pantry has reached a critical need and could run out unless it receives help from the community.

“Every dollar helps! Make sure to stop by today and grab a bag while you do your shopping!” writes The Salvation Army.
