PPLD hiring for multiple positions across El Paso County

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Interested in a career at the Pikes Peak Library District? There are 15 to 20 available roles across El Paso County, and on Saturday, Sept. 28, the district held a job fair to fill those positions.

With more than a dozen positions available across El Paso County, PPLD is looking for candidates for both entry-level librarian roles and more senior positions. The library district values service to the community and is seeking to strengthen its team.

Library staff are committed to providing top service to the community. While they’ve been creatively sharing staff across locations to address shortages, the goal is to be fully staffed to better serve the public.

“We want to be available when and where people expect to find us,” said Joanna Rendon, Director of Organizational Development at PPLD. “And so hiring the right people to provide excellent customer service can make it so that we can be open and have people come in, use our services, meet other people, and have a good time.”

At yesterday’s job fair, candidates had the opportunity to participate in introductions and screening interviews.
