(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Fire Department ( PFD ) wished their crewmembers, Captain Grant Grinstead and Engineer Paul Luebke a safe and successful trip on Wednesday, Oct. 9, as they deployed with Colorado Task Force 1 ( CO-TF1 ) to Florida to support residents in the path of Hurricane Milton.

PFD said Captain Grinstead has been with the department for over 26 years and is currently a captain at Station 1.

He has been on CO-TF1 for nearly nine years and this is his second deployment. He currently serves as HazMat Team Manager and Class A driver. In his role on CO-TF1, he likes to show the professionalism and compassion that Pueblo, and Colorado as a whole, have in their first responder community.

Engineer Luebke has been with PFD for nine years and serves at Station 3. He has served with CO-TF1 for seven years as a Medical Specialist, and this is his second deployment with the team.

PFD said Luebke is so grateful to have a wife and kids who support him in his desire to help others.
