(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police (CSPD) and Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a service call of a fire on Wednesday morning, Oct. 9.

According to CSPD, a person called 911 at approximately 7:55 a.m. and reported their spouse had set items on fire in their apartment. When CSPD and CSFD arrived at the apartment building located in the 3800 block of Half Turn Road, near Palmer Park, the small fire was already out.

There were no injuries reported, and the apartment complex was not harmed by the fire.

Due to the danger posed to other individuals who reside at the apartment, it is a felony. CSPD said it is a first-degree arson felony in conjunction with other domestic violence charges.

CSPD officers are currently investigating the incident, know who the suspect is, and are working on locating them.

Meanwhile, I'm driving around on Woodman road right now. I'm attempting to find another way to drive to the summit of Blodgett Peak. I swear, I've been at this for 3 weeks now. If I don't find a way to drive to the summit I will fist myself in my balls as hard as I can out of frustration.
