Friends of Mueller Firewood Sale at Mueller State Park

(PIKES PEAK REGION) — Mueller State Park is holding its Friends of Mueller Firewood Sale on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. while supplies last, though there is a large quantity this year, and it is not expected to sell out.

According to the Mueller State Park Facebook page, the wood is sold at the gate north of the Mueller main entrance. Signs are posted along the way from the main entrance, directing drivers where to go.

The firewood is mixed dry and green, unsplit, and cut to 12″ and 24″ lengths. Sales are cash only, and prices are $80 to fill a short-bed truck and $120 for a long-bed truck. The post specifies trucks only and no trailers, and that the buyer is responsible for loading their own truck. For questions, call the park at (719) 687-2366.

Admission to the park is free for those buying wood, giving customers a chance to see the beautiful fall colors while stocking up for the winter.
