(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a suspect wanted for multiple felony warrants barricaded himself inside a home in northwest Colorado Springs on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

According to CSPD, on Tuesday at around 1:15 p.m., officers found a vehicle connected to a suspect identified as 33-year-old Joshua Kirby who was wanted on six felony and five misdemeanor warrants. Kirby was found inside a home in the 1100 block of Holli Springs Lane near Centennial Boulevard and Garden of the Gods Road.

Police said Kirby didn’t comply with officers’ commands to leave the home and barricaded himself inside. Tactical enforcement, K9, UAV, and patrol resources were called to set up containment.
