16th Annual Creepy Crawl 5K and Kids’ Monster Dash

(PALMER LAKE, Colo.) — The Creepy Crawl 5K and Kids’ Monster Dash is back for another year and is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Palmer Lake Santa Fe Trailhead.

This is the 16th year for the Halloween-themed race in Palmer Lake and those interested in attending can register now.

According to the website linked above, the Monster Dash is free and for kids 12 and under. Costumes are encouraged for both the 5K and Monster Dash and all race proceeds “benefit the YMCA and provide support to a family or individual in need.” The event is stroller and dog-friendly.

Two other races, the Turkey Trot and Jingle Jog, part of the Y’s 5K Race Series are scheduled to take place on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Dec. 14.
