Bear Creek’s 10th Annual Bear Run

(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) – Join El Paso County Parks’ Bear Creek Nature Center for the 10th Annual Bear Run ! This is a family-friendly 5k and 3k fun run & walk with all the new runners getting a bear suit to keep and wear during the run.

Returning runners can dust off their bear suit from previous Bear Runs and register at a discounted rate, with dogs also welcome to join for a small fee. All proceeds from the event benefit the Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers group, which in turn funds the educational programs and nature camps at Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers.

The run will take place on the beautiful trails of Bear Creek Regional Park with the course containing some uphill and downhill sections. Registration is $65 for adults, $35 for children, and includes your bear suit to keep!
