(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A town hall will be held on Monday, Oct. 28 to discuss the progress of the Palmer High School renovation project following community engagement.

According to a press release from the Downtown Partnership, the master plan renovation project is advancing thanks to nearly 20,000 community interactions from workshops, digital communication, surveys, and from staff, student and community discussions.

The Downtown Partnership said the community feedback has given Colorado Springs School District 11 (D11) valuable insight into how the renovations can maintain the history of the school while also promoting an exceptional learning environment for generations to come.

The initial master plan has taken shape and will be presented at a town hall meeting scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 in the Palmer High School auditorium. Attendees can hear about the first phase of community engagement results, see a presentation of preliminary design concepts, and participate in a discussion on these proposals.
