(PUEBLO, Colo.) — On Friday, Oct. 8, a Pueblo business shared a success story from the Pueblo Police Department’s (PPD) Safe Streets Wanted Criminal Roundup, highlighting how two officers arrested a man with an outstanding warrant who had been lingering in the area.

According to PPD, Officer Pickerill and Officer Claussen of Directed Investigation and Community Engagement (DICE) Team 3, helped arrest Robert Deluna, a man who had been featured in the Safe Streets Criminal Roundup for the second time.

Chris, the hotel’s manager, said that Deluna had been hanging around the hotel, and when the manager called PPD, Officers Pickerell and Claussen responded quickly and arrested Deluna.

The manager said that Claussen and Pickerill were “Great guys, super responsive to us, making great strides in helping clean up things around here.”
