Thousands without power in Northwest Arkansas

On Monday morning, a significant power outage disrupted parts of Northwest Arkansas, affecting a considerable number of customers, as reported by the Arkansas Power Outages Map. From approximately 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., nearly two thousand customers experienced a loss in their power supply. However, as the day progressed, the majority of these customers had their power restored, with only a few exceptions.

During the peak of the outage at 8:45 a.m., Benton County reported that 743 of its customers were affected. Similarly, an approximate total of 666 customers in Madison County experienced an interruption in their power service. Washington County was hit the hardest, with 1,034 customers being affected during this time.
