I know St. Louis isn't known for hot dogs like Chicago, but the truth is there are some amazing hot dogs right here in town. Here's all the info you need of where you can get your grub on.

    T-N-T Wieners

T-N-T Wieners has been around serving St. Louis since 2018. This restaurant features an amazing variety of dogs. You'll find Nathan's All Beef Jumbo Hot Dogs and footlongs, Vegan Dogs, Polish sausage, Stadium Bratwurst & Turkey Dogs. There are even four different bread options including a Pretzel bun. You'll also find a variety of combo meals, family meals, sides, nachos, fries, milkshakes, beer, soups, and ice cream. In addition there are gluten free options as well as vegan options.

What a fun spot!! I didn't think a hot dog spot is what I needed until my boyfriend and I came across this place. They had a hot dog for every taste bud. The people behind the counter gave honest recommendations about what to get. I got a spicy hot dog (yum!!) and potato salad and my boyfriend got two hot dogs, one of them having Cheetos and ranch on it with a side that he didn't want to share haha. All around good place to grab some food with friends and give your taste buds a treat!! When back in the area, we will be back!! Cassundra T.

    Carl's Drive In

If you want a good, cheap meal, go to Carl's Drive In. Here's what to order (double cheese, onion rings, foot long chili dog with cheese and onions). If you select those from the menu, you'll always be happy. The foot long chili dog is very good and the fries just as good. Washed it down with an ice cold root beer.

Carl's gets 5 stars for delivering my expectation. Had a single cheeseburger that was cooked in front of me. The foot long chili dog is very good and the fries just as good. Washed it down with an ice cold root beer. If you want a cheap meal, go here. I'll be back. Mark S.

    Dirty Dogz

I stumbled upon this place completely by accident, and I'm glad I did! The Hot dogs here are 100% Black Angus beef and are custom made just for Dirty Dogz. The hot dog buns are made fresh by a local baker. Condiments there are over 200 available! You get to experiment like a kid in the candy store. It's worth going just to try some new condiment combinations. Here's something you might not believe but it's shockingly good: put peanut butter on your hot dog. I know it sounds weird. But it really is fantastic, the combination of sweet and salty with taste of a good hot dog and bun.

The dog itself was a nice blend of the usual hot dog flavors. The sport peppers were a bit hotter than what I'm used to seeing for sport peppers but they worked. The bun was a lot different than the typical poppyseed bun to which I am accustomed but it worked well also. I would characterize it as a slightly less buttery version of a brioche. It seemed to class-up the dog quite a bit. As for the 200+ condiments, I've been eating my hot dogs one way since I was a little kid and I didn't deviate. For those who like hot sauce or fancy mustard on a hot dog, you'll be in heaven though. John T.

There you have it. The three best places to grab a great hot dog in St. Louis. Have you ever tried any of these restaurants?
