good, let's get people off the streets. why were landlords allowed to raise the rent up to 11 times a year if the tenant didn't have a lease after their first year of renting. Landlords used that loophole to satisfy their greed.I was glad that when Newsom passed the law, that made that illegal. Maybe that's why so many elders on fixed incomes are on the street, homeless. my landlord only gave rental agreements after your lease ran out. He raised my rent twice in one year. That's how I found out about the greed loophole.
