We are a car driven society! We did this to ourself. Gas will keep going up here on out as long as there isnt support for public rail way transportation like our European/Asian counterparts. There’s no way to reduce gas price. Population grows plus demand grows equals consumption for oil is there. We need a reliable, safe, and priced public railway transportation where giving up our cars for commuting to work makes sense and will only use cars for grocery runs.
