PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia man has been arrested on several gun and drug charges, as well as forgery and identity theft.

Pennsylvania attorney officials say they began investigating 31-year-old Ronald Marsh for identity theft when he went to rent an apartment in Philly under a false name, using a stolen Pennsylvania Driver’s License.

Officials then searched the apartment and found about $80,000 in drugs, including meth, heroin and marijuana. They also found several loaded firearms and thousands in cash.

Authorities say when they went to place Marsh into custody, he took off, leading police on a chase, where he operated and abandoned multiple vehicles. Police said in a search of those vehicles, they found methamphetamine, cash and fraudulent debit cards.

Marsh was apprehended on Aug. 8 and now faces gun, drug, forgery and identity theft charges, as well as eluding and fleeing police. He is being held on $1,000,000 bail.
