PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — At least six people were injured, two of them critically, in four separate shootings across Philadelphia on Sunday.

The first shooting happened just after 12:30 a.m. Police responded to a man with a gun on Sanger Street in Wissinoming, just off Hegerman Street. Officers found a 47-year-old man shot in the left ankle.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police eventually located a crime scene five minutes away on Dittman Street.

An hour and a half later, just after 2 a.m., authorities responded to a double shooting outside a house on Judson Street, between Fox and Clearfield streets. They found blood and shell casings in the street.

Not long after, two men arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. A 19-year-old was shot in the right calf and a 23-year-old was shot in the right foot. Both are in stable condition.

Also on Sunday, police were called to the emergency room of St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where two women, ages 23 and 24, were critically shot multiple times. They were later transferred to Temple University Hospital.

One woman was shot in the head and arm, and the other in her arm and chest. Police said both women were the victims of a drive-by shooting near Fifth and Tioga streets in North Philadelphia. Investigators believe a black SUV pulled up alongside them in the area and opened fire.

The fourth shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. in West Philadelphia, near 51st and Arch streets. Investigators said a man was trying to break up a domestic dispute when he was shot in the finger. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police do not have any suspects or motives in any of the shootings. Anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 215-686-8270 or the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS.
