BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking to identify an older woman wanted in connection with two retail thefts in Doylestown on Sept. 6.

Pat Cozzi was working at C. Ferry Home last Friday. He told our partners NBC10 a woman with white hair, accompanied by another woman, walked in and stole a velvet pillow cover worth $89.

“It surprised me because I was here when she first came in with the other girl and I saw them walking around,” he said.

Central Bucks Regional Police say within minutes, the woman also stole a Caspari glass towel holder, valued around $33, from the Paper Unicorn, which is another store nearby.

It’s not clear if the second woman was aware of the thefts.

Paper Unicorn owner Patty White says this kind of theft has a big impact on business.

“You know that’s money right out of my pocket. It’s money to pay my bills,” White said.

The older woman was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt or sweater with a large tan handbag. Police say she has short white hair that’s cut above the ears. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Jaclyn Riccio or submit an anonymous tip .
