PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A cat was shot with an arrow in Philadelphia. Investigators are searching for the person responsible.

The Pennsylvania SPCA posted photos of Kimiko the cat Friday morning. They say she was found by the caretaker of her colony one night last week with an arrow through her right thigh.

She was immediately rushed to Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency (PASE), where she was stabilized. She was then taken to PSPCA where two surgeons removed the arrow and mended her wounds.

PSPCA says Kimiko is on the road to recovery and receiving the care she needs to heal.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information is asked to call PSPCA's cruelty hotline at 866-601-7722 or email cruelty@pspca.org.

I hope someone will adopt her so she won't be put back outside, subjected to human abuse. Humans are awful, preying on weak animals, getting off inflicting pain and possibly death to feel powerful. Sad and disgusting. Pls community, help find this sick individual.
