BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A 66-year-old Hatboro man accused of attacking another driver with a machete in a road rage incident Thursday morning is facing criminal charges.

Kenneth Williams of Bensal Road says he pulled out his machete after another driver tried to hit him around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of County Line Road and Manor Drive.

But the other driver, who police say had a “large laceration” on his head, told officers he thought Williams had hit his car, and when he got out to check for damage, Williams also got out of his car and started swinging the machete at him.

The other driver says after he was hit several times in the head and arm, he grabbed the blade of the machete and held on tight until police arrived.

Williams is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
