Multiple Florida Red Lobster Locations Abruptly Listed As "Closed" On The Company's Website

    2024-05-14

It's not a secret that Red Lobster has had financial difficulties recently since the company announced it had lost around $11 million on its endless shrimp promotion, and rumors have swirled about bankruptcy. And now, some Florida locations on the company's website indicate that those locations are "closed."

A quick check of Red Lobster's official website shows that the following locations indicate that they are "closed" when operating hours are listed:

Tampa - 2625 East Busch Blvd.

Tampa - 17021 Palm Pointe Dr.

Jacksonville - 13090 City Station Drive

Jacksonville - 416 Commerce Center Drive

    Jacksonville - 8720 Baymeadows Road

    Orlando - 3552 E. Colonial Drive

Orlando - 8003 Golden Sky Lane

    Orlando - 7373 W Colonial Drive

    Gainesville - 6910 W. Newberry Road

    Altamonte Springs - 340 West SR 436

    Kissimmee: 4010 West Vine Street

    Hialeah: 1750 W 49th St

    Largo: 10500 E Ulmerton Road

    Sanford: 20 Towne Center Circle

Daytona Beach Shores: 3162 S Atlantic Ave.

Note that this may not be an exhaustive list, but these were locations that indicated they were "closed" on Red Lobster's website during a check as of the afternoon of May 13, 2024.

Floridians who have plans to eat at Red Lobster may want to check their local location on Red Lobster's website to make sure that it is open here.

Each location lists the store's hours as well as the phone number (so you can call to confirm that your location is open.) Note that stores that appear closed have the wording "closed" listed for every single weekday during their listing with no open hours as you can see for the Orlando location in the screenshot below.

Some stores such as in Bradenton and Coral Springs still list full hours so the closures appear to vary by location.
