Floridians shopping for inexpensive housewares have plenty of choices. From Target to Walmart to Home Goods, there are places where you can get items for your home without spending too much. However, one place that may not immediately come to mind is Dollar General. And Florida fans of both Dollar General and Dolly Parton may have a new reason to stop by the discount retailer.

About Dolly Parton's Homewares Partnership With Dollar General: Floridians with access to any of the Sunshine State's 1,052 Dollar General Stores can now shop over 50 inexpensive homeware products inspired by Dolly Parton (prices range from $1 to $10.)

Examples of items you might find are a cup of ambition coffee mug, a $5.00 rolling pin, a $5.00 5.5 inch cast iron skillet, $5.00 scented candles, $1.00 mason jars, a $6.00 pie plate, and $2.00 measuring cups. Some of the items feature the butterfly that is often associated with Dolly.

Dollar General In Florida: Many Floridians embrace the bargains to be found at Dollar General. For example, a Tampa store earns 4.5 out of 5 stars on Yelp, and a customer named Andrew writes:

"This store is great! The shelves are organized, the store is clean, the staff is very nice and considerate, and the prices are great! (An) all around amazing experience."

Dollar General has been expanding nationwide as well as in Florida. A new location opened in Chipley, Florida in May of 2024 and Jacksonville's Maxwell got a new store in June of 2024.
