A New Frugal Cruising Option Sailing Out Of Florida - Huge, Budget Cruise Ship Utopia Of The Seas

One could argue that Floridians who see the value in cruises are lucky. Florida has multiple ports from which to choose, including Jacksonville, Port Canaveral, Tampa, Miami, Key West, Riviera Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, Port of Palm Beach, and Tampa. And now, Floridians will have one more budget choice - a cruise going out of Port Canaveral called Utopia Of The Seas.

About Utopia Of The Seas: Saying that this ship is huge is probably an understatement. It is the world's second largest cruise ship with 21 dining venues, 23 bars, 8 hot tubs, 5 pools, and 3 waterslides.

It is a Royal Caribbean cruise that will begin cruising out of Florida on Friday, July 19, 2024.

The focus of this cruise line is short trips which is why its motto is "the world's biggest weekend."

Prices are modest for the most part. For example, a three-night Bahamas cruise starts at $567, and four nights start at $698.

The Digitial Globtrotter recently reviewed the ship and although the site complemented the ship's size and diversity of its offerings, the publication raved about the entertainment, writing:

"The onboard entertainment aboard the Utopia of the Seas is nothing short of exceptional, offering guests a diverse and dynamic array of experiences that ensure their vacation is as memorable as it is enjoyable. From dazzling Broadway-style shows to intimate live music performances, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the voyage."
