New Budget Flights To And From FL & A Promotion For Existing Flights Starting At $19

    2024-08-01

There are many reasons that Floridians may want to fly out of Florida - for business, for pleasure, or to visit family and friends. Whatever the reason, there will be some new flight offerings in the coming months, as well as a couple of deep discounts that could theoretically make flying cheaper than driving. Let's have a look:

New Offerings From Jet Blue: Jet Blue introduced a new service from Buffalo, New York to West Palm Beach in late July. Additionally, beginning on October 27, 2024, the airline will begin offering service to and from Providence, Rhode Island (PVD) from RSW in Fort Myers.

Beginning on January 23, 2025, it will begin offering service to and from Manchester New Hampshire (MHT,) also from RSW in Fort Myers. (Tickets start at $49 for this launch.)

New Southwest Airlines Offerings: Southwest Airlines has announced that starting in January of 2025, it will begin offering new flights from West Palm Beach to Providence, Rhode Island, and Miami to Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio.

A New Allegiant Flight And A New Promotion With Flights From $19 From Frontier:

Beginning on November 14, 2024, Allegiant will offer a flight to and from West Palm Beach Gerald Ford International. Fares start at $69 each way

Allegiant is having a fare sale with deep discounts because some flights start at $19, but tickets must be purchased by August 1, 2024. Some of the Florida flights that are $19 one way include Tampa (TPA) to and from Atlanta, Tampa to and from Raleigh, Tampa to and from Baltimore, Orlando and Miami to and from Charlotte, and Orlando to and from Houston.

Note that blackout dates do apply. Floridians who want to read the details about the promotion can do so on Frontier's website here.

What we need is more direct flights from ECP Panama City Beach airport. Currently, in order to fly to south Florida you first either go to Atlanta or worse Nashville. This would be a financially viable as less cost of fuel.
