Florida has many well-known beaches such as Miami Beach, Clearwater Beach, And Siesta Key. However, none of these beaches actually have the nickname "America's most famous beach." But the beach that does, Daytona Beach, was just named one of America's top 10 boomtowns in a recent study.

The Study And What It Measured: The website Spinx recently published what it said was 2024's "top boomtowns of the future." It defined a boomtown as a city that is growing and is conducive for starting a business but is not yet so popular that the cost of living is soaring.

The Only Florida City To Make The List - Daytona Beach: Because the state of Florida has seen rapid growth over the past couple of years, you might assume that Florida would dominate the list. But, only one Florida city was on it - Daytona Beach.

Spinx noted that Daytona Beach has much to offer residents - with home prices averaging around $318,900, lower than the state's median home price of around $420,000, and attractions like its beaches and attractions. It has also reportedly started to attract entrepreneurship.

What's So Special About Daytona Beach Anyway?: Those who haven't been to Daytona Beach might be interested to know that it's no longer only for spring breakers and bikers.

Aside from the city's beautiful beaches, there are plenty of things to do - both inside and out. Enjoy the city's $10 million refurbished pier with amusement park rides and games. Or for culture visit The Museum of Arts and Sciences, and find entertainment at Daytona Beach Bandshell, which offers outdoor concerts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Niche gives Daytona Beach a B for livability and residents give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Many enjoy living by the beach, but some lamented rising rents and crime. One reviewer wrote:

"Daytona Beach, Florida is a very booming town. Apartments are being built all over, stores are expanding, there are various colleges within the area and it is a destination of vacationers and travelers."
