    Those Who Love Pub Subs May Want To Know Publix Is Testing Breakfast Sandwiches In Some FL Stores

    If you are a Floridian, I probably don't need to explain a "Pub Sub" to you. However, if you aren't, a "Pub Sub" is a sandwich that one can get from the Publix deli. The sandwich is made with fresh bread, meats, and cheeses, plus your choice of condiments and toppings. The sandwiches are large and therefore, you can have leftovers if you like. Often, one sub per week is placed on special, so sometimes, they are relatively, inexpensive as well.

    Because of the above, I believe that many Floridians will agree that Publix arguably knows how to make a sandwich. Fans of the sub may be interested in knowing that the grocer is offering breakfast sandwiches made with Boar's Head meats in select stores. Here are the details:

    From 7 am-9am at select stores, customers can choose from the following:

    • Boar’s Head eggwich sandwich, which retails for $3.99;
    • Boar’s Head sausage, egg, and cheese Biscuit, which retails for $4.99;
    • Boar’s Head bacon everything croissant, which retails for $4.99;
    • Boar’s Head breakfast burrito, which retails for $5.49; and
    • Publix Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit, which retails for $5.49.

    These sandwiches are available at the following locations in Brevard County:

    Palm Crossings Publix

    Publix at Indian Harbour Place

    Publix at Stadium Corners at Viera

    It is unknown if the sandwiches are here to stay or if they will be offered at other stores eventually.

    Floridians who don't have access to one of the above stores can always buy baked goods from the Publix bakery for breakfast. They offer pastries like donuts, long johns, muffins, twists, coffee cake, tortes, and strudel.
