On Old FL Bed, Bath, & Beyond Is Now A Smaller Macy's And It's Having Giveaways At The Grand Opening

Floridians who frequented one of the 39 Bed, Bath & Beyond stores that Florida used to have may miss that retailer. And some Floridians do not like it when retail parking lots sit empty. Those who live in Orlando may be happy to know that an old Bed Bath and Beyond is now a Macy's and there are giveaways at its grand opening.

About The Smaller Macy's Format: The Bed Bath and Beyond at 397 North Alafaya Trail is a smaller format Macy's store. Those living in the Orlando area have already had a sampling of this smaller Macy's format as a 28,633-square-foot space Market by Macy's opened at 3215 Daniels Road in the spring of 2024. That store was also in an old Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

The Daniels Road store has mixed reviews, earning 3.9 out of 5 stars. While some complained about return issues, others appreciated having a nearby Macy's.

"Macy’s Winter Garden Village is a scaled-down version of the big one found at the Mall of Millenia or Florida Mall. It’s great to have something closer instead of going all the way down to the Mall of Millennia."

The New Store And Grand Opening Giveaways: The new store located at Waterford Lakes Town Center at 397 N. Alafaya Trail will have a grand opening ceremony on August 24th beginning at 9:45 am and will offer giveaways, live music, and a chance to win reward cards.

This store is also a smaller format as it is around 26,000 square feet.
