A New Florida Publix With A Second-Story Dining Area Is Planned And It's Reportedly Hiring

If you are a Floridian, you are no stranger to news that Publix is rapidly expanding. In fact, I've recently written about how the grocer currently has 21 Florida stores listed as "coming soon" on its website. And now, it appears that Palm Bay will soon be getting a new one, for which it is reportedly hiring.

About The New Store: Brevard County honestly has no shortage of Publix stores. In fact, the County already has 25. But it will be getting a new one at 9179 Babcock Street SE in Palm Bay. The store is reportedly currently hiring and is expected to open in a couple of months.

Data from the Construction Journal suggests that the store will be approximately 51,908 square feet.

Although I've written about Publix stores with burrito and pizza bars, a POURS bar, and popcorn makers, this new Palm Bay Publix will have a second floor for diners to enjoy their Pub subs and other fare.

There is already a Publix store nearby - located at 4711 Babcock Street NE. That store earns 4.4 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. While a few complained about wait times at the deli, most were complimentary of the store. A reviewer named Mark wrote, in part:

"No matter where I go in Florida, I can always rely on Publix supermarkets to have quality packaged foods, great breads, wonderful produce, and a large source of meats. The stores are always clean and bright The employees are always friendly. They will help you with your groceries. Just a few ask them. I count on Publix wherever I come across them..."
