Clothing is something that all Floridians must buy, and there are plenty of options. From online shopping to supercenters, to discount stores to malls, Floridians have plenty of choices. However, Orlando just got a new location of Primark, a discount Irish retailer. And lines were reportedly extremely long.

About Primark: This is a vintage company that originated in Ireland in the 1960s but didn't make its way to America until 2015. It operates worldwide - in 15 different countries.

The company strives to "offer something for everyone," and it is affordable, as The Economist has referred to Primark as a "super-cheap Irish clothes retailer" and has additionally noted its "trendy clothes at astonishingly low prices."

Florida's first Primark was in Sunrise and that store has been reviewed over 3,100 times and receives a 4.5 out of 5-star rating on Google reviews. Many noted the prices. A reviewer named Kitty wrote, in part:

"Great prices. Nice variety of clothing and accessories... $3-$15 on average (for) pricing. Cute bags, shoes, (and) clothes for girls and ladies. Men's available, too...Large anchor store."

The New Orlando Store: The new store is located in the Florida Mall and it reportedly experienced some crowing on its grand opening. Although it has a section devoted to theme park memorabilia, it also offers the merchandise that customers have come to expect.

In a statement online, the company shared:

"With tee shirts from $4 and denim starting from $10, shoppers can expect the same great quality at amazing prices they've come to expect from Primark's US stores."

The new store receives 3 out of 5 stars on Google reviews, with some of the reviewers taking off stars due to crowding.

A reviewer named Carolina wrote, in part:

"Crazy long lines! All the way around the building..."

And someone named Tony wrote, in part:

    "It was extremely crowded..."

It is not unusual for readers to comment on crowing when I write about grand openings for retailers in Florida.

The author is not affiliated with Primark or any other retailers.
