Floridians who used to enjoy shopping at one of the 39 Bed, Bath & Beyond in Florida may still be grieving that loss. That said, some Floridians do not like it when retail parking lots are empty and become eyesores. Those who live in Tampa may be happy to know that an old Bed Bath and Beyond will become a Barnes and Noble that is closing down and moving to a new location.

About The Barnes And Noble In Question: The Barnes and Noble at 11802 N. Dale Mabry has served the community for nearly 30 years, but it closed on August 21, 2024.

The store has been reviewed over 2,300 times and it earns 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google reviews.

Many are quite complimentary of the ability to browse books, eat in the cafe, or relax on the comfy chairs. A reviewer named Steven wrote:

"I love Barnes and Noble. This location is just as good as any other. They have a great selection of books, toys, and music. The prices aren't bad and the customer service is very helpful. Bookstores are slowly disappearing and it's a shame. Enjoy them while they last! This location has a cafe and a very large children's section."

The Move To An Empty Barns and Noble: The store was reportedly unable to renew its lease, so it closed on August 21, 2024. While some patrons may mourn this closure, they should know that the store will reopen at an old Bed Bath and Beyond store located close by also on Dale Mabrey in February of 2025.

The new store will also be a bit bigger. The old location was 31,766-square-foot space and the old Bed Bath and Beyond is 35,931 square feet.
