Florida To Get A New Location Of Guy Fieri's Chicken Guy

Regardless of how one feels about celebrities, I can tell you that articles that I write about celebrity-backed restaurants generate much interest. From Gordan Ramsay's Fish & Chips to Drew Drew Brees' Smalls Sliders to Shaq's Big Chicken, these types of restaurants seem to intrigue readers. Central Florida readers may be interested to know that Guy Fieri's Chicken Guy will be launching in Wesley Chapel.

About Chicken Guy: This chain is somewhat known for its chicken, which is the creation of Guy himself. They're uniquely brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle brine, and buttermilk. They're also enhanced with the infusion of fresh herbs. The restaurant also offers creative sauce choices to pair with your chicken.

Chicken Guy is already in Florida - in Disney Springs, Miami, Sunrise, and Winter Park.

Floridians give the Disney Springs location 4 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. While some complained about the crowding due to the touristy location, many complimented the flavors. A reviewer named Matthew wrote, in part:

"Next stop: Flavortown. I’ve eaten a lot of chicken in my life and I’ve never had the idea to put mac and cheese on my chicken sandwich. Now that I know what it tastes like, I can’t go back. I got the Buffalo mac and cheese sandwich. The chicken was great, (and) the breading was nice. The garlic parmesan was fantastic and the mac was soft and creamy...We were able to find seating pretty easily despite it being busy...Great options for kids too."

The New Location: According to the chain's website, a location at 25769 Sierra Center Boulevard in Wesley Chapel is "coming soon." In an Instagram post, Tampa Bay Is Awesome writes that the store will open in October of 2024.

The author is not affiliated with Chicken Guy or any other restaurant.
