FL Sam's Club Stores Getting $4.2 Million in Renovations For Improvements And New Store Amenities

After writing retail articles on Newsbreak for years, I've come to believe that many Floridians embrace warehouse stores. There can definitely be a perception that buying in bulk saves money, and many Floridians like being able to make fewer grocery trips. Floridians living in Jacksonville may be happy to know that two Sam's Club stores are getting substantial, million-dollar upgrades with some new amenities.

About The Sam's At 10690 Beach Boulevard And Its $2 Million Renovation: This 140,000-square-foot store in Jacksonville will be updated with a new cooler, new and renovated refrigeration cases, and a renovated sales area.

This Sam's Club has been reviewed over 1,900 times and earns 4.3 out of 5 stars.

Although some people did not crowding and long lines, many were complimentary. A reviewer named Chrystal wrote:

"Great deals on bulk items. Store is clean and organized. Lots of shoppers but it doesn't take forever to shop. Love the scan-and-go feature. Huge time saver. Also love being able to bring home fresh hot pizza for my family after shopping! Overall wonderful experience here."

The Sam's At 300 Busch Drive And A $2.2 Million Renovation: In addition to some upgrades, this store will get some new amenities. It will receive a renovated produce prep area and sales area, a new shop-in produce cooler, plus new refrigeration equipment. In addition, it will get a new fresh juice area and a new sushi tenant.

This Sam's location in Jacksonville receives a 4.3 out of 5 rating after being reviewed over 1,800 times. While earlier reviews have complimentary things to say, more recent reviews had some issues with carts and checkout. A reviewer named Joseph wrote:

"Overly crowded. People standing around blocking every aisle. Really long lines. Understaffed. Expect to wait at least an hour. Better off going to Walmart."
