Florida Gets New Aldi Close To Burlington, Costco, And Home Depot

Many Floridians are aware that Aldi is aggressively expanding with new stores in Florida. I've written about numerous Florida Winn Dixie stores being converted to Aldi stores. But more than that, the chain is opening new stores that aren't converted Winn Dixie stores, like a recent opening in Delray Beach, as just one example. And now Miami is another example of a market with a new Aldi, and it is by some other popular retailers.

About The New Aldi: On October 10, 2024, Miami got a brand new Aldi store located at 7797 W. Flagler Street. The store is around 12,000 square feet and employs ten. This is the first Aldi in the Fontainebleau community close to Miami International Airport.

It is close to some other popular retailers such as Burlington, Home Depot, and Costco.

There are more Aldi stores than Costcos in Florida. Aldi has around 220 stores in Florida while there are only around 33 Costcos in Florida.

The Aldi gets mixed reviews - at 3.5 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Many complained of early closures and this could have been due to the approach of Milton. However, others were complimentary.

For example, a reviewer named Matt wrote:

"Nice, clean, and organized store. Good customer service from store staff."

    And someone named Rafael wrote:

"(They) always have the items I need."

Aldi's Expansion Plan: Earlier this year, Aldi announced plans to expand with 800 new stores across the United States to the tune of around $9 billion dollars.

The author is not affiliated with Aldi or any other restaurant.

So true all the Winn-Dixie ‘s gonna be changed into Aldi’s. It would just be nice if they would tell the Winn-Dixie employees before they give them the ax, but they’re not that kind of a service.

I believe all these owned by a German company. They just bought out Winn-Dixie so there is another American company gone to foreigners.
