La Crosse PD reports recent pattern of unauthorized vehicle entries

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- The La Crosse Police department is reminding residents to lock their cars.

The police department posted a public awareness bulletin notifying people of a recent string of unauthorized vehicle entries.

23 vehicle entries were reported from June 21-25. Most incidents took place overnight and targeted unlocked vehicles.

La Crosse PD urges residents who witness suspicious behavior or hear car alarms and glass breaking, to immediately contact law enforcement. They are also reminding people to lock their cars and remove any valuables at night.

Reports can be made by calling the non-emergency line at 608-782-7575 or by submitting a Crime Stoppers Tip .
