New Aldi store opening in vacant former La Crosse Shopko building July 25

LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- A second Aldi is opening in the La Crosse area.

Aldi made the announcement that in addition to their location on Market Place in Onalaska, their second area store located in the former Shopko at 4344 Mormon Coulee Road will open on July 25 at 8:00 a.m.

The first 100 customers will get a gift bag and gift card as well as have the opportunity to enter for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card, a company spokesperson said.

The store will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.

The former Shopko on La Crosse's south side has been vacant since 2019.
