    Boat launches reopening as water level recedes in La Crosse

    LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- Boat launches in La Crosse are reopening, as the water level recedes.

    The City of La Crosse's park department says the launches at Veterans Freedom Park, Municipal Harbor, and East Copeland South (behind Hardee's) are now open.

    Both the East Copeland North and 7th Street boat launches are still closed.


    LA CROSSE (WKBT) -- One boat launch has reopened in La Crosse.

    In an update Monday, the city's parks department announced that the Veterans Freedom Park boat launch is open once again after high water forced its closure.

    East Copeland, 7th Street and the Municipal Harbor boat launches remain closed. The city expects those to be reopened in the coming weeks as water levels recede.
