Loggers comeback falls short against Dock Spiders

Despite a fierce comeback attempt, scoring five in the last four innings, La Crosse fell to Fond du Lac 9-6 on Thursday night.

The visitors used a first inning grand slam off the bat of Aidan Jolley to get on the board early at Copeland Park then the Dock Spiders scored four more before the sixth inning to give themselves a big cushion.

Matthew Miura had a 3-4 day at the plate with three singles for the Loggers and Ryan Kucherak had a team-high two RBI's.

Alex Stewart was the winning pitcher while Ryan Troye took the loss.

La Crosse will host Fond du Lac once again on Friday at home at 6:35 p.m.
