Annual art fair supports scholarships for local students

La Crosse (WKBT)-- An annual fundraiser shared their creativity with the La Crosse community.

The American Association of University Women hosted the 66th Art Fair on the Green.

The fair raised money for scholarships for local high schoolers and college university students.

Attendees who were able to come had the opportunity to look at around 30 different artist booths.

The art fair chair said when people support the fair, it creates scholarship opportunities for students.

"Two things really that I always say, the fact that their supporting the fine arts, so their supporting art, the whole art program, like we got a student group here's they are supporting artist, local artist and their providing scholarships for people," said Carol Robertson, Art Fair Chair.
