Alabama to provide $15M in grants for industrial site development
(The Center Square) – Seven economic development organizations have been awarded $15.5 million in Growing Alabama grants for industrial sites by the Renewal of Alabama Commission. The Growing Alabama program provides a one-for-one tax credit to taxpayers who contribute to economic development organizations for approved projects. After nearly three decades with very little updates done to Plainsman Park, it has been a very busy last few months for the home of Auburn baseball. After adding the Hall of Fame Club and seating behind home plate prior to 2024, there are major renovations and additions being done that will be ready for next season. With club seating areas going up down the first base line and also behind home plate, the park will look much different when fans walk in the gates next spring.
