Alabama Commit Cancels Visit to Auburn: Roll Call, July 25, 2024
Once again, Auburn is making an effort to flip a 5-star wide receiver committed to Alabama. But once again, the Crimson Tide seems to be fending the Tigers off on the recruiting trail. Caleb Cunningham, a 5-star receiver in the 2025 class committed to Alabama, was slated to visit Auburn this weekend for the team's 'Big Cat Weekend.' City seeks feedback on Sundown Concert Series
The city of Auburn's Parks and Recreation Department is seeking feedback from the community on a popular entertainment series held annually in the spring and fall. The city has created a survey to gather community feedback on the The Sundown Concert Series, a seasonal event that features free music on select Thursdays in May and in September and October at Kiesel Park.

How a new rule may change how fast Auburn football's offense moves under Hugh Freeze
For the first time in Hugh Freeze's career as a Division I coach, he'll have the option to speak directly to his quarterback before each play. Auburn football, along with every other FBS program, will have the choice of using helmet communication in 2024. It's a new rule that was officially adopted in April, approved by the NCAA's Playing Rules Oversight Panel to try and curb the stealing of signals. The change comes on the heels of Michigan's sign-stealing scandal that resulted in Jim Harbaugh getting suspended for three games last season.
