Lee County Looking for Missing Children
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate Kahlani Baggage (black/female 2years of age) and Isaiah Atkins (black/male 5 months). The children were last seen in the 800 Block of Zellars Court located in Auburn, Alabama on December 4, 2023. The children are believed to be in the care of their mother, Lilliana Olivia Atkins (20 of Warner Robbins, GA) and her boyfriend Trenton Rashad Jones (21 of Auburn).
Emma Blake Love
Emma Blake Love, 82, transitioned to her heavenly home on Friday July 19, 2024, surrounded by family and friends, at her family residence. She was born on Aug. 19, 1941, in Roanoke, Al., to the late Richard Blake and Emma Lue Jackson. Emma joined First Baptist Church in Roanoke, Al. at an early age. She graduated from Randolph County Training School, Roanoke in 1960. Shortly after graduating high school, she moved to Chattanooga, and later began working at Memorial Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 20 years. After retiring from Memorial Hospital and enjoying her time off, Emma decided to return to work and accepted a position with the City of Chattanooga until her second retirement. Upon establishing her home in Chattanooga, Emma joined Second Missionary Baptist Church in 1962 where she served on the Nurse’s Guild and Missionary Union.

After a small lull in Auburn football's recruiting, head coach Hugh Freeze believes things will pick back up with Big Cat Weekend. The Auburn football program's biggest recruiting event of the year, Big Cat Weekend, will take place this Saturday, and high-profile recruits from all over the country will make their way to the Plains for the event. Big Cat Weekend is centered more around fun and fellowship than the more serious aspects of recruiting and it encourages a family atmosphere around the program.
