    Body found in Arkansas River near La Junta identified

    (OTERO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Otero County Coroner has confirmed that the body pulled from the Arkansas River near La Junta on June 18 belongs to 19-year-old Devlin Cambeul, who went missing after going into the water on the morning of June 12.

    According to the Otero County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), its office was informed on Wednesday afternoon, June 26 by the Otero County Coroner that the body had been positively identified as Devlin Cambeul.

    OCSO said the identification was verified by the El Paso County Coroner based on two sets of dental records.

    The final cause of death will be released with the final autopsy report, which OCSO said is anticipated in 12-14 weeks.
