The library has hidden 10 secret caches around the county and a challenge coin will be presented to those finding all 10. Download the Geocaching app and create a free account. The app will show approximate locations of geocaches in the area. All caches are hidden and clearly marked SMCL Geocache Adventure 2024 in transparent, plastic containers. Park hours and regulations must be observed and no trespassing on private property. One coin per household on a first-come, first-served basis. A Bridgerton Ball will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Charlotte Hall branch. Wear finest regency-inspired apparel and come celebrate the upcoming release of Bridgerton season three. The interactive workshop will introduce the ethical uses of Chat GPT and Perplexity along with ways they can be utilized in everyday life. Registration required. Earn a free book after completing the first challenge, and a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt or tote bag after the second challenge. Collect treat/food coupons or stickers for challenges 3 through 5.
