    Pokémon cross-stitch will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, July 1, at the Waldorf West branch.

    Mobile Monday: Mondays @ the Park — Game time will be held 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday, July 1, at Laurel Springs Park. Pop-Up Library services include Wi-Fi access, library card services, crafts to go, “500 by 5” starter kits, and materials for check out. Registration required.

    Geometric canvas art will be held 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the P.D. Brown Memorial branch. Registration required.

    Library Crate for teens will be held all day Tuesday, July 2, at the P.D. Brown Memorial branch. Sign up each month to receive a personalized book recommendation, as well as a few surprises. Registration required and opens June 30.

    Veterans resource visits will be held 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 3, at the Potomac branch. Disabled Veterans Outreach Specialist & Local Veterans Employment Representative from the Department of Labor Division of Workforce Development and Adult Learning will discuss shares.

    All branches will be closed Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. All locations will reopen Friday, July 5.

    Camp Read S’more will be held 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 11, at the Charlotte Hall branch. Go on an adventure with an indoor campout. S’mores, build reading forts, and songs and stories. Siblings welcome. Registration required for each child.

    Tabletop hangout will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Lexington Park branch. Play card games, TTRPGs, tabletop games and more. The library has some games. For those interested in running a game, fill out the form online. Registration required.

    Adult Crafternoon: Paper plate printmaking will be held 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 8, at the Leonardtown branch. Come with a design in mind or use one of those provided. Participants will leave with their plate/matrix and the prints they made. Materials provided and no experience needed. Recommended for adults. Registration required.

    Around the World escape room will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Charlotte Hall branch. Travel the globe but transportation tickets for airplane, hot air balloon, boat, train and bus are needed. Time limit is 20 minutes. Registration required.
