Black Bear Seen in Park Hills, Desloge Area
Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A black bear was spotted in the Park Hills area Monday morning. Authorities were alerted that the bear was near Parkway Drive and Highway 67. Images on social media show that the bear was seen crossing the highway. The Park Hills Police Department, St. Francois County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri Department of Conservation worked to locate the bear. Deputies with the sheriff's department used a drone to see if they could spot the bear in the woods.
