Bedford Borough has released its waterline construction schedule for July 15-18. One crew will be working along Pitt Street between Bedford and Richard streets on July 15, on North Bedford Street on July 16, and on Pitt Street between Chamberlain Street and the fairgrounds on July 17-18. Parking will be restricted in designated areas, and traffic will be controlled by lights or flaggers. Bedford man faces three charges
A Bedford man allegedly strangled his wife and threatened to kill her over an argument after she woke up him. GRANTSVILLE — Maryland State Police reported that a Ridgeley, W.Va. man died as a result of a motor vehicle collision near Grantsville on July 9.
