Texas is suing the Biden administration over a new policy that mandates minimum staffing levels in nursing homes, arguing the federal Medicare agency exceeded its authority. La Feria ISD Kicks Off a New School Year in Style

La Feria Police Department Holds National Night Out
On the evening of Monday, August 5th, the 2024 National Night Out was a resounding success thanks to the fantastic hosting by the La Feria Police Department. The event took place at the picturesque Veteran’s Memorial Park/Sport Complex on Pancho Maples Drive in La Feria. The festivities included a wide array of offerings for students preparing to return to school, with the participation of numerous law enforcement agencies. The La Feria Police Department distributed numerous exciting giveaways, while various vendors generously provided school supplies, backpacks, and valuable resources for the community. Children were treated to an abundance of fun and games, and the highlight for many was the delightful train ride around the venue.
